Camera's Other Outstanding Features
Once again Medit Inc. stays true to itself, offering best solutions for NDT professionals that increase their productivity but also do not cost them an arm and a leg. The new FreedomView Advanced Articulating Borescope is just that - professional precision packed in a compact, portable body that operators can purchase at an affordable price.

The scope features several state-of-the-art characteristics that make it one of the most efficient hand-held devices in the industry. One of them is groundbreaking 360⁰ articulation that makes the camera not only extremely maneuverable in the canal, but also enables operators to get a well-rounded footage of the pipeline interior at one easy go. The second unique feature is a OptiLux™ No-light Loss Technology that offers much more efficient use of light than other conventional lighting methods.

Besides, recently FreedomView has received American Class 1 Division 2 Hazardous Locations Certification, which makes it ideal for high-risk applications in customs, military, law-enforcement, aircraft and helicopter and many other inspections that can be dangerous for humans.

The FreedomView Advanced Borescope features a lightweight, ergonomic design with an integrated 3.7" transflective touchscreen display, easy side SD card and USB access, and intuitive joystick-controlled operation. Operators can record pipeline footage as videos in AVI format or take snapshots (JPEG) of areas of particular interest. All data can be either stored to an SD memory card or transferred directly to a laptop via USB.

The borescope works with extra rugged 2m/79" tungsten-braided probes that are equipped with 11mm distal that articulates 110⁰ in every direction. Power is provided by a rechargeable Li-ion battery that enables operators to record up to 2 hours of inspections on full charge.

The FreedomView Advanced Borescope is one of the few devices that is both highly efficient and affordable available in the market today.
